AntiHyalase cream

This unique cosmetic cream is used by most popular Italian film stars for extension of aesthetic effect from Hyaluronic Acid based dermal fillers. This product contains 10% extract of Echinacea purpurea which exhibits active hyaluronidase inhibiting action in the skin. The extract has been obtained through a special technique created in OTI laboratories in Italy.

Hyaluronic acid of skin essentially carries out two functions by expanding to the extracellular space through the bonds with water and salts. By interacting with several extracellular molecules, Hyaluronic Acid creates a helical structure which contributes to the elastic properties of skin. It is therefore fundamental for the maintenance of hydration and turgidity of the skin. The metabolism of Hyaluronic Acid is very rapid; in fact about 70% is broken down and regenerated every 24 hours. The enzyme hyaluronidase is mainly responsible for the catabolism of hyaluronic acid; for this reason the use of natural Echinacea purpurea extract which inhibits its activity, may well result in preventing the break down of both endogenic (naturally available in the body) and exogenic (Hyaluronic Acid based fillers or creams) Hyaluronic Acid.

We advise applying the cream in the evening before bedtime.

DMAE Face Lift cream

DMAE (Dimethylaminoethanol) is an anti-ageing substance which was presented at the 60th American

Congress of Dermatology in April 2002. The study presented has shown the efficacy and safety of

this substance for topic use in cosmetics.

DMAE, which which is present naturally inside the human body and in some fish such as sardines and salmon, was initially indicated for improvement of memory. Afterwards it was observed that topical use causes an increase in tone of facial and body musculature. Hence the idea to use it in preparations against skin ageing was developed. In fact, DMAE is considered as a precursor to acetylcholine and stimulates the muscular contraction. The substance acts on muscle fibres, minimising skin flaccidity and resulting in skin elasticity improvement and attenuation of wrinkles. The mechanism of action is opposite to that of botulinum toxin but with similar visible results.

With ageing the level of acetylcholine, hence its effects on muscle in the body diminishes causing a loss of tone. The topic use of DMAE increases the levels of acetylcholine in the muscle in the area where it is applied and consequently increases skin tone.

We advise applying the cream twice a day, in the morning and in the evening.
